Struensee, Joseph "Joe" William Sr. (29 Feb. 1880 - 10 Nov. 1968)
Funeral services are being held today (Thursday) at 1: 30 p.m. from the Fifth Street Georgas funeral home for Joseph William Struensee, age 88, who died Monday, November 10, 1968, in Luther Hospital in Eau Claire. The Rev. W. C. Koehler of the United Church of Christ will officiate. Burial will be made in the Neillsville Cemetery.
Mr. Struensee was born February 29, 1880, in Oshkosh. He attended school there, later coming to Clark County, where he was engaged in farming. He returned to Oshkosh, where he worked for several years, then came to the Neillsville area, where he farmed in the town of Levis.
He was married in Neillsville May 31, 1904, to the former Tina Prokop, who died in 1966.
Surviving are three children, Mrs. Blanche Lebeck of Cicero, IL, Edward and Joe, Jr. of Neillsville, also 13 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.
