We know who
the people are, but everyone we show the picture to loves the house.
I was wondering if anyone could identify the house. Where is it? Is
Albert Nehmer is listed on the Day Creamery Ledger, Levis Twp., Clark Co., Wis.
This looks like the Youmans house, located on Pleasant Ridge,
about two miles east of Neillsville, Wis. Youmans, an attorney
developed and owned that farm for some time, where he had
employees who operated the farm that was stocked with an
excellent dairy herd, hybrid sheep and other livestock. After he
disposed of the property, there had been renters. That house was
razed in the early 1950s and was near the Grant & Pine Valley
township line. The only original building presently on that
site, is the large barn. The Day creamery was located about
three miles south of Neillsville, near the State Road 73
and 95 split. That sure looks like that farm yard. You may be
able to fine a photo of that house on this website. Dee
