Joe Francel was taken to the LeGault Hospital at Owen Sunday where he was
operated on for appendicitis. We all wish him a speedy recovery.
Mr. Snyder of Fairchild called at the John Morgal and Frank Volk homes Saturday.
Edward Lesar had the misfortune to sprain his foot quite badly Sunday while out
hunting.
McNess Food Products agent has been thru here Tuesday.
Frank Lunka Jr. took some grist to grind at Tioga.
Frank and Frances Poszega called at the F. Champa home Tuesday.
John and Frank Champa were Loyal callers Thursday.
Joe Tolaney assisted Frank Laken with butchering Friday.
Francis Knops, John and Frank Champa visited with Joe Francel at the LeGault
Hospital at Owen Sunday afternoon.
Otto Meinholdt is laid up with a sore back these days. His brother is making
cheese for him.
L. Perushek and son Ludvik sawed wood for Anton Furlan Friday.
F. Francel and daughter Hannah and Mr. and Mrs. Ignatz Koschak visited with Joe
Francel Saturday at Owen.
L. Perushek was at Eau Claire Friday to get his sister Angela, who is attending
school there.
Joe Tolaney called on L.C. Butcher at Willard one day last week.
Frank Lesar Sr., who ahs been on the sick list, is up and around again.
Francis Knops called at the F. Francel home Sunday p.m.
Otto Meinholdt called on Francis Knops one day last week.
