Strnad, Anna (20 July 1888 - 17 April 1972)
Mrs. Anna Strnad, 83, of Elmhurst, Il, died April 17, in Neillsville, where she
was a hospital patient for a month. She had resided for 10 months at Memorial
Home in Neillsville.
Mrs. Strnad was born July 20, 1888 in Czechoslovakia. Surviving are two
daughters, Mrs. Phillip (Ann) Lamovec of Elmhurst, Il, and Mrs. Donald (Frances)
Browner of Lyons, Il; two sons, Leonard Strnad and Jerry Strnad, both of
Chicago; 2 grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Joseph (Rose) Fojik, of Medina,
Il, and Mrs. John (Mary) Schultz of Maywood, Il.
Funeral services were held Thursday morning from the Holy Family Catholic Church
in Willard. The Rev. Michael Mertens officiated and burial was made in the Holy
Family Cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Phillip Lamovec, Sr., Phillip Lamovec, Jr., Henry Lamovec,
Sr., Henry Lamovec, Jr., Gregg Lamovec and Frank Lamovec. Mass servers were Ray
Lamovec and Steven Koschak.
People from away who attended were Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Lamovec and children,
Phillip, Jr., Gregg and Dawn of Elmhurst, Il, and Sharon and Linda Browner of
Lyons, Il.
