Wedding vows were exchanged Saturday, April 20, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Loyal, between Miss Peggy Jo Welzien and Alan Lee Rhode, both of Milwaukee, at 2 p.m.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Alan Welzien, Loyal and Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Rhode, Greenwood. The Rev. A. M. Moldenhauer, pastor, officiated and the father of the bride gave his daughter in marriage.

Mrs. Kenneth Voss was the organist, and Rev. Moldenhauer sang "The Lord's Prayer." Vern Dahlby sang "Oh Lord This Day."

The bride was seen in a organza and lace sheath and matching hat of lace with fingertip veil and detachable organza train. Her flowers were white daisies with variegated camellia and caladium leaves.

Mrs. Barbara Rounds, Jewell, Iowa, the matron of honor, and Miss Diane Achterberg, Schofield, Miss Marilyn Noeldner, Denver, Colorado and Mrs. Marjorie Rhode, Greenwood, the bridesmaids, carried fireside baskets od daisies and leatherleaf fern.
They were attired in Nile green fabric and lace sheaths and matching picture hats.

Gilbert Rohde, Jr., Eau Claire, served as best man. Groomsmen were Dennis Olson, Frederick Meyer, River Falls; and Richard Rohde, Greenwood. Gary Rhode and Robert Rounds served as ushers.
The wedding reception was held at the Amber Inn, Loyal, and supper was served in the church dining hall.

The bride is a 1964 graduate of Loyal High School and a 1966 graduate of St. Joseph's School of Radiological Technology, Marshfield. And is employed at Milwaukee Lutheran Hospital as a xray technologist. The groom graduated from Greenwood High School with the class of 1962 and is a 1964 graduate of Wausau Technical Institute. He is Divisional Manager with the F. W. Woolworth Co.

After a wedding trip to Miami Beach, Florida, the couple will reside at 146 S. 92nd St., Milwaukee.
