Miss Luann Elva Bragg and Ernest Eugene Erickson exchanged wedding vows
Saturday, May 6, in a 2:30 p.m. double-ring ceremony at Calvary Lutheran Church.
The Rev. Daniel Litzer officiated. Parent of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. David
Bragg of Rt. 1 Neillsville and Mr and Mrs. Earl Erickson, also of Rt. 1.
The new Mrs. Erickson, given in marriage by her father, wore an empire-style
gown of organza and white venise lace fashioned with a scallop-edged hem. She
carried a bouquet of daisies and miniature white carnations tied with white
streamers.
Miss Charlene Luchterhand was the maid of honor. Bridesmaid was Miss Susan
Galetka. The bridal attendants wore gowns styled with floral overskirts and
bodices of melon sheer over taffeta; hats of white organza accented their
ensembles. They carried wicker baskets of daisies and white miniature carnations
interspersed with baby’s breath.
Melvin Nemitz served as bestman. Groomsman was Steven Daniels. Guests were
seated by Randy Marden and Evan Erickson. Wilfred Galstad was the organist.
The American Legion Hall was the scene later of a reception for 175 guests.
The bride is a 1971 graduate of Neillsville High School and will graduate May 19
from the District One Technical Institute at Eau Claire. The groom, a 1970
graduate of Neillsville High School will graduate June 1 from North Central
Technical Institute at Wausau and will be employed as as implement mechanic at
Mondovi. The newlyweds will make their home in Mondovi.
