Marriage vows were exchanged by Carol Ruppert, Colby, and John L. Busse, Abbotsford, at a 1 p.m. ceremony in St. Peter’s Lutheran church at Dorchester Saturday, July 3.  Officiating over the nuptial rites were the Rev. F. H. Sprengler of Dorchester and the Rev. Arlan J. Busse, Freedom, Pa., a brother of the groom.  Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Harold Ruppert, route 1, Colby, and Mr. and Mrs. John H. Busse, Abbotsford.  The ceremony was followed by a reception at the bride’s home and a supper at the church.  A wedding dance was held that evening at the Abbotsford Sportsmen’s Park.  The bride is a 1963 graduate of the Colby high school and her husband is a 1962 Abbotsford high school graduate and a 1965 graduate of St. Joseph’s school of radio technology.  He is employed as a radiological technician at Marshfield.  The new Mr. and Mrs. Busse are residing at 110 Parkview Terrace, Marshfield, following a wedding trip through the western states.
