Mock, Josella Mae (2 February 1933 - 2 May 2014)

Josella M. Mock, age 81, of Thorp, passed away at the Clark County Health Care Center in Owen of Friday, May 2, 2014. Per Josella’s request, no services will be held.

Josella Mae Huls was born in Thorp, WI on February 2, 1933, the daughter of the late Sophia (Bogumill) and John Huls. She was raised in the Thorp area and received her education at the Thorp Catholic School. Josella was united in marriage to Edward Giwojna on June 17, 1953, at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church in Thorp. The later divorced. She then married Kenneth Mock, Sr. on June 28, 1974 in Wabasha, MN. Josella was a homemaker her entire life, where she raised her seven children.

In her spare time, Josella enjoyed fishing, crafting, knitting and sewing.

She is survived by her first husband, Edward Giwojna of Stanley, WI; 3 daughters: Jaqueline (Pete) Luikart of Red Wing, MN; Barbara lane (Jack Spuhler) of Thorp, WI; Susan Ernst of Owen, WI; 4 sons: Donald (Carol) Giwojna of Stanley, WI; Edward (DeeAnn) Giwojna of Sheldon, WI; Kenneth Mock, Jr. of Medford, WI; Thomas (Dawn) Mock of Stanley, WI; 29 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kenneth Mock, Sr.; and two sisters: Mary Ann Rosemeyer and Della Dean Petrusse.
