Anderson, Jeffery A. (17 March 1962 - 30 April 2014)
Jeffery A. Anderson, age 52, of Owen, passed away at his home on Wednesday,
April 30, 2014, surrounded by his family and friends under the tender care of
hospice. A Memorial Service was held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 6, 2014, at
Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Owen. Farther Janusz Kowalski officiated. Family
and friends were welcome from 5:00 p.m. until time of service Tuesday at the
church. The Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Owen was entrusted with the
arrangements.
Jeff was born on March 17, 1962, in Stanley, the son of George and Ann (Fitzl)
Anderson. He attended Thorp High School. Jeff was united in marriage to Wendy
Wilson in Owen. They later divorced. He drove truck for most of his life. Jeff
enjoyed fishing, hunting, old cars and talking with anyone he met. Most
especially, he loved and enjoyed his grandchildren. In the last few years, he
enjoyed being around his family and talking about his family history.
Jeff is survived by his son, Shawn (Britney) Anderson, of Dorchester; two
grandchildren; Skylar and Conor Anderson; two step-granddaughters: Mia and
Aiyana Leichtman; his mother and step-father, Ann (Louis) Chura of Thorp; two
brothers: Robert Anderson of Tulsa, TX and Louis Chura, Jr. of Stanley; other
relative and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, George.
