Scholtz, David (? - 19 May 1972)
Funeral services for David Scholtz, 21, of Eau Claire, who died early Saturday
of injuries received in a car-truck collision Friday night on Highway 37 south
of Eau Claire, were held Tuesday, May 23, at 1:30 p.m. from the Prock Funeral
Chapel in Eau Claire. The Rev. O. C. Anderson officiated and burial was made in
the Rest Haven Gardens Cemetery.
David Scholtz, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Arlo Scholtz of Eau Claire, was the
grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Scholtz of Neillsville and Mr. and Mrs. Alfred
Spaete of Granton.
Survivors, in addition to his parents and grandparents, include a twin brother
Wayne, stationed with the navy in the state of Washington; and older brother,
Tom, of Sherwood and a younger brother, Stevie, at home.
Relatives attending the services from Neillsville included Mr. and Mrs. Lewis
Scholtz, Mr. and Mrs. Matt Gassen, Mrs. Ruth Homan, and Mrs. Robert Kunze. An
aunt and cousin, Mrs. William Hill and daughter of Elroy, were also expected to
be present.
