Wedding vows were exchanged by Kathleen Mary Feeney, Milwaukee, and Lee David
Lawrenz in a 12 o'clock noon nuptial Mass on June 8, at St. Rose of Lima
Catholic Church in Milwaukee.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Feeney, R.R.
3, Chippewa Falls, was escorted down the aisle by her father. She was attired in
a floor length princess-cut crepe and embroidered lace gown of her own creation.
Flowing from her headpiece of pearls and lace daisies was an elbow length
illusion veil. Her bouquet consisted of white daisies, yellow roses and central
orchids.
Maid of honor for the occasion was Miss Mary Lou Finley, Janesville, former
roommate of the bride. She was seen in a bright yellow green floor-length empire
waisted gown of crepe and satin. She carried a bouquet of white daisies bordered
with calalilies.
Charles C. Loberg, Milwaukee, classmate and former roommate of the groom, served
as best man. The ushers were James A. Bartsch, LaCrosse, friend of the groom and
Jerry J. Hablieb. Chippewa Falls, friend of the bride.
The theme of the day was set in an ecumenical atmosphere as the ceremony was
performed by Father Edward Murphy of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church and
Reverend Charles Berdahl of Our Saviors Lutheran Church. A reception and buffet
dinner was held at Our Saviors Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall immediatly
following the service.
The new Mrs. Lawrenz is a 1964 graduate of Chippewa Falls McDonell High School.
She attended Mount Mary College. Milwaukee, and received her diploma in dental
hygiene from Marquette University, Milwaukee. She currently employed as a
registered Hygienist n Brookfield.
The groom, son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl E. Lawrenz, Kewaunee and formerly of Loyal,
was a 1964 graduate of Loyal High School. He attended Wisconsin State
University, River Falls and is currently enrolled as a junior in the school of
Dentistry, Marquette University, Milwaukee.
