Willard (8 June 1972)
A graduation party for Carol Govek was held at the home of her parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Frank Govek, last week. Carol graduated from Greenwood High School.
Mr. and Mrs. Harley Thompson of Eau Claire, former Willard residents, visited at
the home of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Ulesich and also with other friends.
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Ulesich spent last Saturday in Menomonie with Dr. and Mrs.
James Ulesich and family.
Miss Georgia Hemersbach of Milwaukee and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Gannon and family
of Oconto were guests last week of Mr. and Mrs. Al Hemersbach and family.
Mr. and Mrs. Lee Meinholdt of Milwaukee were weekend visitors at the home of his
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Meinholdt.
Mr. and Mrs. William Seliskar and children of Northlake, Il, visited at the home
of Mrs. Evelyn Seliskar and family.
Mr. and Mrs. Tony Ulesich visited Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Ulesich one day last week.
Tony Trunkel, Sr., was admitted last Saturday to Memorial Hospital in
Neillsville.
Mr. and Mrs. William Gleason and family of Jackson, Ms, are spending some time
with Mr. and Mrs. Victor Halbrader and family.
Friends and relatives helped Joe Wolk and Terry Gleason celebrate at a
graduation party in their honor last Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Victor
Halbrader.
Sister Antonia of Wabasha, Mn, is staying at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Tony Gosar
and visiting relatives and friends in the Willard and Greenwood area.
Ernest Arch attended a wedding last week in Waukesha.
Mr. and Mrs. Klapatauskas, Donna Searles, Mr. and Mrs. Roland Kitzhaber, Mr. and
Mrs. Bernard Kitzhaber, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Brey and Patty Brey attended a
graduation party in Mosinee Friday night for May Jo Kitzhaber.
Mrs. Larry Hadzima and twins of Eau Claire visited with relatives and friends
here last weekend.
Matt Gregorich, Raymond Gregorich, Julius Klapatauskas, Sr., of Thorp and Edward
Gregorich of Stoughton went north on a fishing trip last week.
Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Debevec and children of Pasco, Wa, left last Monday for
Chicago, Il, and Lodi, after visiting relatives and friends here.
Mrs. William Bayuk and Mrs. Robert Zimmerman of Boise, Id, left last Monday for
St. Cloud, Mn, to visit their mother, Mrs. James Zima.
Friends and relatives attending a graduation party in honor of their son, Allen,
at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Debevec were from Pasco, Wa, Chicago, Il,
Milwaukee, Eau Claire, Marshfield, Thorp and Willard.
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Brezovnik of Elm Grove, Il, visited Rose Stamcar and Mr. and
Mrs. John Stamcar last week.
Sister Genevieve of Springfield, Il, and Mr. and Mrs. William Jordan and
children of Owatonna, Mn, were guests last week of Mr. and Mrs. Ludwig Jordan.
Mr. and Mrs. James Anderson and children of Eau Claire were weekend visitors of
her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Lamovec, Sr., and family.
Sgt. and Mrs. William Backus and Kim of Fountain, Co, left last Friday and were
accompanied by his brother, Leslie Backus.
Chris Bayuk spent 10 days at home and returned to La Crosse University on
Sunday.
Mrs. Mary Zajac of Chicago, Il, Mrs. Angela Schneeler of Virginia, Mn, and Mrs.
Roy Cushman were here to visit with Mrs. Louis Champa and their brother and
father, Louis Champa at Memorial Hospital in Neillsville.
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Koschak had a party for their daughter, Linda, who graduated
from Greenwood High School. Friends and relatives were guests.
Francis Koschak is home from Madison where he attended the University of
Wisconsin.
