Schwantes, William (FFA Degree - 1972)
William Schwantes, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Schwantes, Sr., of Granton, was
to be awarded a Wisconsin State Farmer Degree at Green Lake Wednesday during the
stat e Future Farmers of America convention.
A member of the Granton FFA, young Schwantes will be a senior in the fall at
Granton High School, where he is an honor student. His parents own and operate
the Lynn Dairy.
Others from Granton attending the convention include: Kevin Steiner, one of 10
finalists in the FFA creed contest; and Rick Beilke and Steve Walter, chapter
delegates. Also in attendance will be Francis Steiner, Granton chapter advisor.
