Brenner, June Mae (20 AUG 1966)
St. Ann's Catholic Church, Stanley, was the scene fro the wedding of Miss June
Mae Brenner and Louis Paul Mnikolaicik on Saturday, Aug. 20th, 1966. Rev. Edmund
Cramer performed the ten a.m. double ring ceremony.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Brenner, RR 2, Thorp (Clark Co.,
Wis.), and Mrs. Sophie Mnikolaicik, Stanley.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, was attired in an all lace gown
styled with a scalloped neckline and long tapering sleeves. The colonial pick-up
went into a chapel tiered train with each tier edged in scalloped lace. Her
double tiered headpiece of last petals edged with pearls and sequins held her
fingertip veil. She carried a bouquet of tangerine roses and white carnations
and also place tangerine and white carnations on the Blessed Virgin.
Miss Judy Brenner was her sister's maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Kathy and
Mary Beth Mnikolaicik, sisters of the groom, and Mrs. Any Hazuga, friend of the
couple. They each wore a gown of olive green lace featuring bateau neckline and
ruffled elbow length sleeves with picot lace. The chiffon skirt was bonded at
the waist with satin and the back was highlighted with a Watteau panel. Each
carried a bouquet of tangerine roses and white carnations.
Attending the groom was his cousin Leon Duda as best man, and groomsmen were:
Jerry Brenner, brother of the bride, Clyde Krupa, cousin of the bride, and Steve
William, a friend. Ushers were Ron Janicki and Don Hazuga.
A dinner and reception for 200 guests were held at Koolmo's Ballroom, Gilman,
where also a dance was held, with music by the Country Cousins. Donna Brenner
was in charge of the guest book. Lawanda Herrick and Marlis Jacque cut the
wedding cake.
The mother of the bride chose a brown lace over taffeta dress for the occasion.
The groom's mother was attired in a two piece tan suit. Each had a corsage of
tangerine roses and white carnations.
The bride attended Stanley-Boyd High School and is employed as an office worker
with Thorp Finance. The groom also attended Stanley-Boyd High School and is
employed with Citgo Station, Thorp.
After a trip to Wis. Dells, the new couple will make their home in Stanley.
