Ruda, Sharon (3 SEP 1966)
Miss Sharon Ruda, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Ruda, Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.),
became the bride of Mr. and Mrs. John Dallas, Thorp, on Saturday, Sept. 3rd,
1966 at St. Bernard's Church, Thorp. Rev. Father Brockman performed the ten a.m.
ceremony and the children's choir sang.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white two piece lace suit. A
white pillbox ring hat and veil and a colonial type bouquet of white roses and
carnations completed her ensemble.
Monica Danen, Oconomowoc, wearing a blue three piece double knit suit, was maid
of honor. She carried a colonial type bouquet of yellow carnations.
Thomas Danen, Oconomowoc, was best man, and ushers were: Mike Borek Jr. and John
Dallas Jr.
A reception was held at the Badger Inn, Stanley.
The bride's mother wore a plum colored dress with beige accessories and the
groom's mother wore a blue dress with white accessories and each wore a corsage
of red and white roses.
The bride, a 1962 graduate of Thorp High School, was employed at 1st National
Bank, Waukesha.. The groom, also a 1961 graduate of Thorp High School, is
employed a Carnation, Inc., Oconomowoc.
After a trip to northern Wisconsin and Minnesota, they will reside at 330
Oakwood, Oconomowoc.
