Schmidt, Charlotte Ann (Marriage - 17 June 1972)
Miss Charlotte Ann Schmidt and Frank Oldham were married Saturday, June 17, in a
1p.m. nuptial mass performed at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Loyal, by the
Very Rev. Norbert E. King. A reception was held at Bali Hai Supper Club. Parents
of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Ed J. Schmidt of Rt.2 Loyal, and Mr. and Mrs.
Charles Oldham of Rt. 2 Neillsville.
Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a white A-line gown of imported
organza and venise lace over taffeta styled with long, puffed sleeves and a
detachable Watteau train. Her veil fell from a headpiece of crystal and pearl
trimmed Venise lace. A bouquet of a white Cattelya orchid nested in pink
rosebuds and white baby’s breath was accented with white satin streamers.
Mrs. Andrew Lindner, Muskego, was the matron-of-honor. Bridesmaids were Miss
Sheila Bauer, Marshfield, Miss Darlene Hederer, Unity, and Miss Pat Lewin,
Marshfield. The attendants’ gowns of violet voile were fashioned with Empire
waistlines. Matching voile bow headpieces and small, white wicker baskets filled
with white and violet daisies and baby’s breath completed their ensembles.
Kenny Oldham, Neillsville, acted as bestman. Groomsmen were Eugene Schmidt and
Ronald Schmidt, Loyal and Ronald Oldham, Neillsville. Guests were seated by
Robert Schmidt, Loyal, and Donald Oldham, Neillsville.
Jodi Ann Lindner, Muskego, as the miniature bride, wore a gown identical to that
of the bride. Jeff Kluckhohn, Neillsville, was the ringbearer.
Guitar music was played by Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Denk, Jeff and Gordon Denk, Bill
Denk, Mrs. Sharon Schoonover and Mrs. Diane Anderegg.
The bride, a 1969 graduate of the Loyal High School, is employed in Spencer. The
groom, who graduated from Neillsville High School in 1968, is employed in
Neillsville.
Following their return from a wedding trip to the western states, the couple
will live in Spencer.
