Kapfer, Jerri Lou (Marriage - 17 June 1972)
Miss Jerri Lou Kapfer became the bride of Edwin Charles Krueger Saturday
afternoon, June 17, in a double-ring ceremony performed at Faith United
Methodist Church, Milton, by Rev. Richard Jones. A reception in the church
basement honored the newlyweds. The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Betty Kapfer
and Leon Kapfer, both of Janesville. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Krueger, Rt. 1 Milton,
are the groom’s parents.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white A-line Empire gown of
ruffle and lace trimmed satapeau styled with fitted sleeves and a detachable
train. A venise lace face frame held her bouffant, elbow-length veil. She
carried a multi-colored bouquet of spring flowers.
Mrs. Timothy Spohn, Janesville, was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs.
Michael Carroll, Beloit, and
Miss Harriet Krueger, Milton.
James Goodger, Milton, served as bestman. Groomsmen were Russell Krueger,
Janesville, and Doug Arnold Milton. Guests were seated by Jack Kapfer,
Janesville, and Warren Loofboro, Milton.
Soloist Mrs. Richard Jones was accompanied by Mrs. Keith Stubbindick.
The new Mrs. Krueger is a 1969 graduate of Craig High School, Janesville. Her
husband graduated from Milton High sch0p0pl; ion 1968. Both are employed in
Janesville. The couple will live in Janesville.
Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Kapfer and Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Kissling of Neillsville were
among guests at the wedding.
