Jill Ann, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Block, was baptized Sunday morning, July 25, at St. John’s Lutheran church, Riplinger.  Rev. M. L. Yonker officiated.  Her sponsors were Miss Judy Block and Kenneth Kademan, aunt and uncle respectively.  Jill was born June 18 at Medford Memorial hospital.

Following the baptismal ceremonies, the parents invited friends and relatives to their home to honor Jill and to celebrate the sixth birthday of their daughter, Joyce.  Dinner guests included Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Kademan and family, Curtiss, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Block and family, Colby, both grand parents to infant Jill, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Miller Jr. and family, Mr. and Mrs. Art Schultz and family, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Oehler and family, Abbotsford.  Afternoon and supper guests included the above group and Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Strade, Abbotsford, and Mrs. Oscar Kademan, Curtiss, who are the infant’s great grand parents, and Mrs. Marvin Seefluth, Abbotsford.
