W. C. Fulwiler and Herb Gibson are working at Chili.
C. H. Benedict had been under the doctor’s care several days past.
Jennie Budge, sister of George and Willie Budge of this place, lies dangerously ill at Neillsville, and hopes of her recovery are doubtful. She has a large circle of friends here who unite with us in wishing her a speedy recovery.
Frank Snyder will close his term of school at Shortville tomorrow.
Last Thursday Drs. Esch and Lacey extracted a kernel of corn from the ear of little Ross Root, which is supposed to have been in his ear nearly five weeks. The little fellow is at this writing doing finely.
Mrytle Bolton of Humbird, is visiting relatives here.
A honey sociable for the benefit of the pastor was given last Wednesday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. I. Fulwiler. There were about 100 people present, and $10 was realized.
E. H. Lindsley and wife of the 2nd Wis. Crusade Band, are here on a visit to relatives and friends.
S. A. Adams was a Loyal visitor last Wednesday. Perry Campbell went to Chili last Saturday.
The report that Dave Snyder was married at Hatfield some time ago was not true, so Dave informs us.
James Short of Shortville, was the guest of Frank and Albion Snyder Saturday.
Josie Heath of Heathville, was guest of Lillie Warner Saturday and Sunday.
School in Dist. No. 4 closed last Friday with an exhibition. The program was well rendered and was a credit to both teacher and pupils.
Rev. Foster occupied the pulpit in the Center Church yesterday.
