Mr. and Mrs. Alex Badzinski and daughter Denise and Cathy Teclaw visited on
Sunday with the Stanley Stasczuk family in Eau Claire.
Mrs. Layton Asselin, Mrs. David Weinberger and Mrs. Louis Kaczor spent last
Friday afternoon with Mrs. Charles Frinack.
Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Frantz and son of Neillsville called at the Bruno Lato home
on Sunday last.
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Anhalt of Clarks Mills, Wis., Mrs. Edward Schuk of
Reedsville, Wis. and William Pritzl of Brillion, Wis. spent the weekend with Mr.
and Mrs. Joseph Benzschawel and Mr. and Mrs. Anton Baldeschwiler and other
relatives.
Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Cook visited on Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Berdal and
family, also visited with Mrs. Fred Johnson of Chippewa Falls, who is visiting
there.
Miss Ruth Kaczor of Oak Creek spent the weekend at her home here, returning back
to school on Sunday afternoon.
Bruno Lato spent the weekend in Minneapolis, also visited the John Lato's in
Menomonie on Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. David Mamayek and daughter Diane and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Cady and
family spent the weekend in Lewiston, Minn.
Mr. and Mrs. Glen Gilbertson and family visited friends and relatives in Barron,
Wis. over the weekend.
Dorothy Lato of Wis. Rapids and Robert of Wausau spent the weekend with their
parents here.
Stevie Budzinski of Medford spent the weekend with his grandparents, Mr. and
Mrs. Henry Cieslek of Thorp.
Mrs. Kenneth Sauerwein and family of Ellsworth, Wis. spent the weekend at the
Steve Danielewicz home.
Julie Burkhardt and Dorothy Lato visited on Sunday at the Dergance home in
Greenwood.
Mrs. W.E. Vanderhyden and daughter Brenda and Barb visited Mr. and Mrs. Ted
Schultze in Stanley on Sunday.
Liz Schultze from Sheboygan, Wis., presently a sophomore at Wis. state
University - Eau Claire, visited Gail Anderson on Sunday afternoon. Liz and Gail
were counselors at Camp Waubeek this summer.
Mr. and Mrs. James Danielewicz of Eau Claire visited Saturday evening at the
Steve Danielewicz home.
Frank Benzschawel Jr. of Tumwater, Wash., Mr. and Mrs. Gen Benzschawel, Mr. and
Mrs. Bill Benzschawel, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Benzschawel, Mr. Don Jensen and Mr.
and Mrs. Ed Maslowski helped Claude Benzschawel celebrate his birthday Sunday
night.
Mr. and Mrs. W.E. Vanderhyden and daughter Becky visited at the Rueben Schmidt
home in Abbotsford on Friday evening.
Mrs. Alice Danielewicz and Miss Geraldine Dudansky were supper guests of Miss
Mary Pagel on Thursday.
Mr. and Mrs. Bert Cattanach and family, Mr. and Mrs. Bud Pitt and family and
Durane Koslo helped celebrate the 45th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Louis
Papierniak on Saturday evening at their home.
Members of the Sunshine Club gave a birthday party for Mrs. Frances Neimen on
Monday afternoon.
Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Herman, Mrs. Bertha Dudansky, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Stigen of
Withee, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Denzien of Prentice, Wis., Mr. and Mrs. Edward
Ortlieb and Mr. and Mrs. Emil Ortlieb of Wausau were all at the home of Mr. and
Mrs. Walter Abitz and Ingrid of Medford. They had a farewell party on Mrs.
Maurice Hein of Germany. She is the sister of of Mrs. Abitz. We all wished her
"Good Luck" on her return to her home in Oldeive, Germany.
Mr. and Mrs. Bud Pitt and children, Paul, Gary and Janis, left for Milwaukee on
Sunday, after spending an extended weekend with Louie Papierniak's. Duane Koslo
remained with his grandparents the Louie Papierniak's.
Mr. and Mrs. Ollie Bauer and Mrs. Leon Bogumill visited on Sunday with Dr. Neis
at St. Joseph's Hospital and with Mr. and Mrs. William Bogumill and family of
Marshfield.
Mr. and Mrs. Bill Hieting of Marshfield visited Mrs. Kate Van Loo on Friday.
Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Herman visited Thursday at the home of Mrs. Victoria
Wilcenski of Gilman. Mrs. Victoria Wilcenski left for a weekend to Minneapolis,
Minn. To visit her daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. M. Williams.
Mr. and Mrs. John Bartozewski and son david and nephew Ronald Konet of Chicago
were visiting at the home of Joe Bartozewski of Thorp Labor Day weekend.
Those that visited with Mrs. Henry Huls this week were Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Cook,
Mr. William Huls and Joe and Terry, and Mrs. Edward Berdal.
Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Herman and Mrs. Bertha Dudansky visited at the home of Mr.
and Mrs. Frank Stigen of Withee last week on Wednesday.
Miss Fran Bogumill, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Bogumill, is employed as a
reservationist clerk with Northwest Airlines. Fran resides at 2434 W. Wells, Apt
110, Milwaukee, Wis.
Mrs. Fred Johnson of Chippewa Falls spent Saturday afternoon with her sister,
Mrs. Henry Huls.
Mrs. Kenneth Sauerwein and children of Ellsworth, Wis. spent Sunday afternoon at
the Walter Bohn home.
Mrs. James Possley and sons John and Joe and daughter Mary and Edith, and Mrs.
Edith Possley spent Sunday in Eau Claire visiting with George Possley, who is a
student at the University and also called on Frank Lesniewski who is a patient
at Sacred heart Hospital Mrs. Edith Possley spent the afternoon visiting with
Mrs. Delmare.
