Dachel, Barbara Ann (17 SEP 1966)
The marriage of Miss Barbara Ann Dachel and John L. Budzinski was solemnized
Saturday, Sept. 17th, 1966 at the Holy Ghost Catholic Church, Chippewa Falls.
Father Comiskey performed the ten a.m. double ring ceremony and Nuptial Mass.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin P. Dachel, Chippewa Falls, and
the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John M. Budzinski, Thorp (Clark Co.,
Wis.).
The bride was given in marriage by her father, and chose an organza bridal gown
styled with A-line front and full back skirt. A self fabric band and bow
accented the high rise waistline. Lace outlined the bateau neckline, formed the
double cap sleeves and edged the detachable Watteau train. Her bouffant veil of
illusion billowed from a crown of crystals and she carried a bouquet of white
spider mum surrounded by yellow sweetheart roses.
Miss Patricia Dachel was her sister's maid of honor and the bridesmaids were
Betty Budzinski, sister of the groom, and Joyce Derks, friend of the bride. They
wore fern green floor length A-line gowns featuring satin skirts with miniature
pleats, off white lace bodice and short sleeves. Moss green velvet ribbon and
bow around natural waistline completed their gowns. Fern green satin petal and
bow headpieces held their bouffant veils and each carried a bouquet of white
spider mums and pompoms.
Bernard Budzinski was his brother's best man and groomsmen were James Dachel,
brother of the bride, and Richard Danielewicz, cousin of the groom. Ushers were
Michael Dachel, brother of the bride, and Dale Danielewicz, cousin of the groom.
A dinner was held at Van's Club 29 at 12:00 and a reception was held at the
Knights of Columbus, Chippewa. A dance was held in the evening at the Thorp
Legion Hall.
The mother of the bride had a yellow rose corsage and the groom's mother had a
red rose corsage.
The bride, a graduate of McDonnell High School, was employed by Employer's
Mutual, Wausau. The groom attended Thorp High School and is self employed.
After a wedding trip to northern Wisconsin, the new Mr. and Mrs. Budzinski will
make their home on route 1, Thorp.
