Found - A black mitten. Owner can have same by calling on Joe Rondorf. We would advise people, when they go to take eggs, not to loose their mittens as it is certainly a dead give away.
The Good Templars gave a honey supper last Wednesday evening in their hall for their benefit. $7 was realized.
Levi Fulwiler and wife called on relatives at Neillsville the latter part of the week.
Norman Rogers has purchased 40 acres of land of Phillip White for the sum of $1,300. Norman thinks house keeping the best policy.

The sheriff, of Neillsville, was seen on our streets one day the past week.
Herb Gibson transacted business at Chili last Thursday.
An oyster supper was given in the Lyons Church Thursday evening in honor of Eider Foster. G. S. Rowe made a trip to the city on his wheel Saturday.
Geo. Lindsley, Ernest Grabe and Ed Cochrane were on the sick list last week.
Rev. Hoffman and wife were callers in this locality last week.
A number from here attended the quarterly meeting at Beaver Sunday.
The exhibition last Saturday night was well attended. A large crowd from Granton was present.
Mrs. W. H. Smithers leaves Wednesday for Tracy, Minnesota on a visit to her daughter.
While several playmates were playing last Friday little Horace Lawrence was struck on the top of the head with an ax inflicting a deep wound. Parents should be careful in allowing children to use such dangerous tools.
Mrs. Joe Rondorf has gone to Sparta.
