C. M. Campbell nursed a very sore thumb the past week.

Bertie Redmond came down from Thorp last week for a visit with relatives and friends.

Jennie Budge has recovered from her recent illness and is staying with her uncle at present. She intends to accompany her mother to Scotland soon.

Messrs. Kelley of Tomah, and Hutchins of Levis, were here Wednesday and Thursday canvassing for school supplies.

Seth Chapel continues to haul logs to Granton.

Herb Gibson and Chester Quackenboss made a business trip to Marshfield last Thursday.

Mrs. Henry Ide has a sister from Black River Falls visiting her.

The Epworth League will give a literary meeting Sunday evening.

The young people surprised George Smith and wife last Friday evening, and report a splendid time.

Leo Chapel gave a candy pull last Wednesday evening.

W. H. Smithers left Tuesday for Walnut Grove, Minnesota, on a visit.

E. H. Lindsley and son returned to their home in Milbank, South Dakota, last Thursday.
