Liebzeit-Ali, Coreen (12 SEP 1948 - 5 SEP 2005)

Coreen Ann Liebzeit-Ali, 56, Brookfield, passed away unexpectedly Monday, Sept. 5, 2005, at her home. Funeral services were held on Saturday, Sept. 10, at the Harder Funeral Home, Brookfield.

Coreen Ann Liebzeit was born Sept. 12, 1948, in Marshfield, to Arvin and Anna Liebzeit of Greenwood. She was a 1966 graduate of Greenwood High School. Before continuing her education, she joined the Peace Corp and served in Liberia, Africa. She received her degree in social work from the UW-LaCrosse in 1975. She married Fazle Ali on Aug. 5, 1978, in Minneapolis. She was a dedicated mother to her two children, Shauncey and Afton Ali. She was employed by the Tonawanda Elementary School as a library secretary and did volunteer work for the Elmbrook School District. She enjoyed taking care of her family, home and artistic pursuits.

Survivors include her husband, Fazel Ali, Brookfield; her children, Shauncey and Afton Ali, Madison; her mother, Anna Liebzeit, Willard; siblings, LaVonne Liebzeit, Granton, Ellen (Alan) Vierthaler, Janesville, and Blaine (Lori) Liebzeit, Marathon. She is further survived by her mother-in-law, Monoara Begum, Bangladesh; and her brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Fazle (Benu) Kabir, Fazle (Ripa) Quayum, Fazle (Vickie) Eshan and Dllara (Kamrul) Sultana.

Preceding her in death were her father, Arvin Liebzeit, and her father-in-law, Abdul hai Akland.

Memorials to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.

Harder Funeral Home, Brookfield, assisted the family with arrangements.
