Pokallus, Augusta (30 AUG 1858 - 22 JAN 1895)
Died, at her home in the East Ward of this city (Colby, Wis.), on Tuesday, Jan. 22nd, 1895, of apoplexy, Mrs. Charles Pokallus, in the 37th year of her age.
Augusta Osteike was born in East Prussia, Aug. 30th, 1858; in 1884 she came to Colby and on May 3rd, 1885, was united in marriage with Charles Pokallus, who survives her. This union was blessed with 3 children, 2 sons and 1 daughter, all of which are left to mourn the loss of a loving and devoted mother.
The funeral will occur tomorrow at the Lutheran Church and the remains will be interred in the Colby Cemetery.
