Decker, Marie A. (14 April 1915 - 9 Oct. 1994)

Withee - Marie A. Decker, 79, Owen, died Oct. 9, 1994, at St. Joseph’s Hospital Hospice Care Unit, Marshfield.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. John’s Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.

Visitations will be at Maurina Funeral Home in Owen after 4 pm. Tuesday.

She was born April 14, 1915, in Taylor County. She farmed with her husband until his death. She moved to Owen in 1971 and did custodial work there.

Survivors include two sons, Dean Decker of Seattle, Wash., and Ronald (Jo Ann) Decker, of Eau Claire; three daughters, Donna (Bob) Johnson of New Berlin, Carol (Don) Meek of Concord, Calif., and LaVonne (Ron) Runge of Edgar; one brother, Walter "Pete" (Ann) Boxrucker of Owen; two sisters, Martha Peissig of Sister Bay and Alice Brock of Louisville, Ky.; 18 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
