Johnson, Grace (3 JUN 1933)
A very pretty wedding took place June 3, at the Lutheran Parsonage of Loyal at 12 o’clock, when Miss Grace Johnson, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. P. M. Johnson, of the town of Beaver, became the bride of Harold Haupt, only son of Mr. Emil Haupt of the towm of Beaver. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Leschensky.
The bride was dressed in a white satin ankle length dress and wore a silver head band. She carried a bouquet of white calla lilies, blue iris and ferns. She was attended by her sister Joyce, who wore a Robin’s egg blue silk flat crepe ankle length dress.
The groom was attended by his cousin Owen Swieso. Both boys wore the conventional blue suits.
A bounteous wedding dinner was served at the home of the bride’s parents at 2 o’clock to about twenty five guests and near relatives and the minister’s family.
The home was decorated with Bridal wreath, ferns and white and blue crepe paper, also a large white wedding bell.
The wedding cake was baked by Mrs. Richard Walter. She also acted as cook and Miss Viola Walter was table waitress.
Their many friends join in wishing the newlyweds many years of happy wedded life and may their life together be as bright as the sunshine on their wedding day.
