Mrs. Bessie Woodward, age 85, of Neillsville, died here Monday, June 29, 1970. The funeral services will be held today (Thursday) at 1:30 p.m. from the Georgas Funeral Home. The Rev. William Dushek will officiate. Burial will be made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.

Mrs. Woodward was born October 28, 1884, to Alfred and Harriet (Bush) Lee in Neillsville, Wis. She was educated and lived here all of her life.

She married the late Lester Woodward on December 23, 1903, in Neillsville, Wis. He worked for the Badger State Telephone Company for several years.

Survivors include: a son, Francis of Sarasota, Fla.; and a sister, Mrs. Herbert (Hazel) Brown of Neillsville, Wis.
