Johnson, Louis (26 APR 1850 - 5 APR 1896)

Died, at his home in the town of Green Grove, Clark Co., Wis., on Sunday, April 5th, 1896, of paralysis, Louis Johnson, aged 46 years, lacking 21 days.

Louis Johnson was of Scandinavian birth and was born on the 26th day of April, 1850; he was married 22 years ago to the wife, who with seven children, survive and mourn his sudden death. We have no data as to his early life but since his residence on the farm where he died, he has been known as one of the most industrious and respected citizens of the town of Green Grove. For the past year and a half he had not been in the best of health, being troubled much with heart difficulties that culminated on Sunday in the paralytic stroke that caused his death, he living only about six hours after the stroke.

The funeral occurred yesterday at the home, Rev. C. H. Chase officiating, and the interment took place at the Green Grove Cemetery. The sorrowing family will have the sympathy of this entire community.
