Williams, Viola C. (9 March 1892 - 1 Sept. 1969)
Viola C Williams, age 77, Strum, died Monday morning, September 1, 1969, in the Osseo Area Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, in the Strum Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Luther Monson officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul’s Cemetery in Strum. The Oftedahl Funeral Home, Osseo, is in charge of arrangements.
Viola was born March 9, 1892, to William and Nellie (Gill) Oldham, in Clark County. She was married first to Lew Wedding, of Eau Claire County. No date was given of her marriage to Deak Williams, who survives her.
Surviving besides her husband, Deak, she is survived by one son, Lester Wedding, of Strum; one brother, Guy Oldham, Eau Claire; four half-brothers, Charles and Ray Oldham of Neillsville, William Oldham of Strum, Lafayette Oldham, Ohio; a half-sister, Mrs. Ray (Genevieve) Kalsow, Neillsville, and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were two sisters, Gertrude Borgen and Jessie Bloomer, a half-sister Daisy Rodman and a half-brother Joseph Oldham.
