Auguste Handtke (Hancottke) "Gusta" married Gustof August Beilke. They resided on a 72 acre farm in Section 18, Lynn Township. She was the daughter of Gottlieb and Dorthea (Schreiber) Handtke (Kancottke) and he was the son of Charles and Johanna (Manske / Monsky) Beilke. His sibblings were: Carl Jr., Anna, Alvina and Augusta and his parents died in Germany, the father dying when Gustave was 11 years old.
