The engagement of Jamie Rettig and Lucas Mellenthin is announced.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Perry and Betty Rettig of Curtiss, Wis. She is a 2003 graduate of Abbotsford, Wis. High School and a 2005 graduate of Mid-State Technical College with a major in human resources/business administration. She is employed as an administrative clerk at PC Doctors of Marshfield.
Her fiance is the son of Randy and Melody Mellenthin of Unity. He is a 2003 graduate of Colby, Wis. High School. He works as a bulk feed truck driver for General Farm Supply in Spencer and is a member of the Spencer Fire Department.
An Aug. 12, 2006, wedding is planned.
