Dean and Carrie McFarlane

Carrie Odelia Meyer and Dean Wayne McFarlane were married Dec. 31, 2004, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Loyal.

The Rev. Roman Kaiser and the Rev. Paul Dekker officiated the ceremony. Music was provided by Heidi Meyer, vocalist and pianist; Kate Comeau, vocalist; and the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point string quartet.

Parents of the couple are Robert and Coni Meyer of Loyal and Patrick and Deborah McFarlane of Willard.

The bride was escorted by her father.

Maid of honor was Cassandra Meyer of Madison. Bridesmaids were Signe Trewyn of Chicago, Bethany Gries, of Madison and Heidi Meyer of Tomah. Best man was Dan McFarlane of Sparta. Groomsmen were Scott McFarlane of Menasha, Matt McFarlane of Stevens Point and Ryan Meyer of Tomah.

Ushers were Evan Kozlowski of La Crosse and Laura Van Arsdale of Ham Lake, Minn.

Following the ceremony, a reception, dinner, and dance were held at the Loyal American Legion Hall.

The bride is a 1999 graduate of Loyal High School and a 2003 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse with degrees in business management and public administration. She completed her degree in interior design in May 2005 from Western Wisconsin Technical College, La Crosse. She is employed as the floor merchandise coordinator and accessory buyer for Furniture and Appliancemart, Wausau.

The groom is a 1998 graduate of Greenwood High School and a 2003 graduate of UW-La Crosse with a degree in broadfield science education. He is employed as a biology, earth science and anatomy and physiology teacher at Auburndale High School.

They live in Marshfield.
