COLBY - Lucille E. Talcott, 86, of Colby, died Monday, July 25, 2005, at Angelus Retirement Center in Colby.
Funeral services will be at noon Friday at First United Church of Christ in Colby. Burial will be in Colby Memorial Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the church on Thursday from 10:30 a.m. until time of services.
Maurina/Community Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Lucille Talcott
COLBY -Lucille E. Talcott, 86, Colby, died Monday, July 25, 2005, at Angelus Retirement Center, Colby.
Funeral services will be held at noon Friday, July 29, 2005, at First United Church of Christ, Colby. The Rev. Kenneth A. Dix will officiate. Burial will be in Colby Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until time of services Friday at the church.
Maurina/Community Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Lucille was born June 14, 1919, in the town of Spencer to John and Ruth (Miller) Sorenson. She attended Unity Public Schools and UW-Stevens Point. Lucille and Arvid Talcott were married Dec. 27, 1941. He preceded her in death. They farmed from 1941 to 1965. She taught in rural schools and also in Loyal and Spencer elementary schools. She enjoyed traveling, sewing, crafts, music, painting and playing cards. Lucille was a member of First United Church of Christ, Women's Guild, Retired Teachers Association, Royal Neighbors of America, HCE, Abbotsford Library Club, and Rural Arts Historical Society.
Lucille is survived by her sons, Darrel (Dixie) Talcott of West Salem and Warren (Darlene) Talcott of Spencer; five grandchildren, Brenda, Julie, Tiffany, Stacy and Tom; and five great-grandchildren, Michael, Aaron, Alexis, Zachary and Adeline.
