MRS. CHARLES HUHN DIES AT GREENWOOD
Colby Woman Succumbs at Home of Sister After Three Years Illness
Mrs. Charles Huhn, 54, died at town of Hull, 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the home of her sister, Mrs. Martha Meinhard, at Greenwood, where she had been the past week, following a three week stay at a hospital in Minneapolis. She had been ill about three years.
Mrs. Hull, nee Louise Marquardt, was born in the town of Green Grove January 17, 1879, where she lived until her marriage to Mr. Huhn, June 28, 1907, when she moved to her present home five miles east of Colby.
Surviving are her husband and eight children: Mrs. Marion Brotherton, town of Hull, Lois, Fedinand, Niel, Milton, Earl, Orin and Franklin, all at home: also the following sisters and brothers: Mrs. Martha Meinhard, Greenwood: Mrs. Jesse Hill, Chicago: Mrs. Julius Kobs and Mrs. George Tessmer, Colby: Ben Marquardt, Loyal: Fred and Frank Marquardt, Milan: Herman Marquardt, Marathon: Charles and Albert, at Green Grove.
Funeral services will be held from the Zion Lutheran Church, Colby, but other arrangements have not been made.
