OTTO KOEPPEN DIES ON FRIDAY

Rites Are Monday for Resident of Colby

Colby--Funeral services for Otto Koeppen, 68, who died Friday, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Zion Lutheran Church with the Rev. Otto Hoffman officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

The body is reposing at the Lulloff Funeral Home, Colby.

Mr. Koeppen was born Nov. 11, 1882, in Germany. He came to the United States with his parents at the age of seven, settling on a farm in the Town of Colby. His marriage to the former Frieda Werner took place in Colby Nov. 27, 1918. Six years ago they retired and moved to the village of Colby.

He is survived by his wife, the following children, the Misses June and Wynola Koeppen, and Kenneth Koeppen, at home: Mrs. Frederick (Leona) Zassenhaus and Mrs. Wesley (Violet) Frome, Colby: and LaVern Koeppen, Sheboygan: eight grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. Gusta Witte and Mrs. August Kobs, Colby.
