Several of our citizens went down to hear Mr. Austin speak last Saturday evening.
Miss Lena Keiper closed her second term of school in District No. 3 on Friday last.
Mr. Lorance Pearson is here visiting his sister, Mrs. Mathilda Peterson, the pleasant land-lady of our village boarding house.
Ed. J. Ketchumn, of Thorp was in these parts on Sunday last. Mr. K. led us to believe that a union of the prohibition and Democratic parties will take place in the near future.
