P.F. Lautz, of Longwood, attended the meeting of the G.A.R. Post in this village on Saturday evening last.
A. A. Arnold arrived home from Crystal Falls, Mich., on Sunday last, where he has been engaged in building flood dams during the past six months.
John Servaty, of Neillsville "took to the woods' with a crew of men to a point about nine miles south of here on Monday last, where they will cut oak staves during the summer. The staves will be hauled here and shipped next winter.
