H. F. Goff brought some cabbage to town on Wednesday, many of the heads were ranging over twenty pounds in weight.

E. A. Boardman has finished the repairs at his mill and is now prepared to do much more and better work.

G. Poppe left some very fine specimens of potatoes at this office on Monday last. They are White Mountain and Early Rose varieties.

Geo Mead and Ed. Bunton started for Crystal Falls, Mich., on Monday last, where they will be employed with A. A. Arnold in building a dam.

W. H. Fields favored this office with a few sample potatoes,of the Early and Late Rose and Snow Flake varieties that are hard to beat in size or quality.

Mrs. E. R. Wiley and Miss Maggie Neelan departed for St. Paul on Tuesday, Mrs. Wiley will purchase her fall stock of millinery goods and Miss Neelan visits with relatives a few days.

W. H. Bixby has so far as heard from the largest potatoe produced in this vicinity this season. Its weight is two pounds and nine ounces and may be seen at this office.
