Mrs. F. Gillespie returned last week from Mason where Mr. Gillespie is employed.
Jas. Fusee is spending a few days in this village ere going into the woods for the winter.
W. D. Hoard, Republican candidate for Governor, will speak at Sargent's hall this (Friday) afternoon.
J. H. Sargent and Ole Anderson started for Jump river on Sunday last where they will spend a few weeks hunting.
And still another potatoe, at this office, from Geo. Maybie, weighing three pounds and six ounces. It is Beauty of Hebron variety.
Hon. R. J. MacBride, of Neillsville, was in town on Saturday evening last and made a few remarks on the political situation previous to the address by Burr W. Jones.
R. F. Kountz, candidate for the office of district Attorney, was in the village on Saturday last shaking hands with old friends and making new ones. Dick's fences need little repairing where he is acquainted with the people.
