Citizenship is asked by 34 in Clark County
Certificates of Naturalization will be applied for by 34 petitioners on the regular motion day of the Clark County Circuit Court, Tuesday, June 20, at the court house in Neillsville, Wis. Hearings on the applications will be held before Judge Emery W. Crosby. Thos applying are: Stefen Kalitzky, Tioga; August Kreutz, Spencer; Karl William Herman Jahnke, Granton; Neta Jahnke, Granton; Mary Getrude Nielson, Neillsville; Rosa Bergman, Humbird; Elfriede Bertha Garbisch, Granton; Elizabeth Embke, Neillsville; Meta Minna Wetzel, Neillsville; Alice Koch, Hoffman Lieders, Abbotsford; Mathilda Emma Ott, Greenwood; Carl Fischer, Colby; Max Bucholtz, Stanley; Marie Augusta Dudei, Neillsville; Antonia Kalitzky, Tioga; Olga Marie Mutka, Owen; Matti Mutka, Owen; Peter John Rosandich, Granton; John Krol, Thorp; Marek Depa, Thorp; Frank Grosely, Willard; Mike Gedrem, Thorp;! Tyne Marie Hautamaki, Owen; Elsie Harder, Greenwood; John Hautamaki, Owen; Frank Drenik, Withee; Adolph Edward Cizik, Withee; John Oryszcpyn, Thorp; Bertha Kraut, Curtiss; Mike Martin Rosandich, Granton; William Carl Frederick Kuenkel, Neillsville; Michael Cerne, Willard; Jens Laurids Christensen Bundgaard, Withee; and Elm Marie Landberg, Greenwood Judge Crosby will hold similar naturalization days at Black River Falls on June 21, and at Mauston on June 22.

Twenty-seven aliens received their first citizenship papers in Clerk of Court Draper's office Monday. Among them were Joseph Saykly, George Saykly and Charles Shames, native Syrians born in the city of Damascus, the oldest city in the world.

H. Noetzel of Greenwood was at county seat Monday to take out his naturalization papers. He is securing a passport and expects soon to take a trip to Germany.
