Schraufnagel, Milton (13 Dec. 1924 - 24 Feb. 2004)
Milton Schraufnagel, 79, Colby, died on Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2004, at St. Joseph’s Hospital Palliative Care Unity.
Mr. Schraufnagel was born on Dec. 13, 1924, in the town of Hull to Alois and Alice (Wilkins) Schraufnagel. He attended Colby Schools.
His marriage to Maurine Lieders took place on June 13, 1953. She survives. The couple resided in California and Parker, Ariz., before returning to Abbotsford in 1982 and later moving to Colby.
Mr. Schraufnagel served in the U. S. Navy and was a member of the Colby VFW. He enjoyed the outdoors, traveling and volunteering.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Elmer Floyd and Eldred Schraufnagel; and two sisters, Ella Alexander and Lela Galloway.
Per Mr. Schraufnagel’s request, no funeral services will be held.
Maurina Funeral Service, Abbotsford, assisted the family with arrangements.
