Mrs. John Ferdon is visiting friends at Trempeleau.
Patick Smith has a new frame barn in process of erection.
Rev. J. E. Webster held services at this place on the 28th ult.
A. Ruscher has erected a neat frame poultry house.
Frank Story, who has been absent for some time has returned to this place.
Peterson's cavalade which was to have started for the far west on July 25th did not start as advertised and we are informed have (with the exception of Mr. Peterson) abandoned the expedition.
Alonzo and Geo. Ruscher, Herman and Gus Tjehrman and Gus and John Johnson went to Dakota last week where they will remain during harvesting and threshing.
Bill Warner and sister Lizzie and Lucinda, Mr. and Mrs. O. Evenson and John Warden attended the Sabbath school and visited with friends at South Fork last sabbath.
