Rev. A. M. Parmenter who has so ably filled the pulpit of the Baptist Church here for the past fifteen months departed on Tuesday for North Muskegon, Mich., where he will spend a well-earned vacation of one month visiting his son and friends before resuming his pastoral labors elsewhere. Mr. and Mrs. Parmenter, during their sojourn here made a host of friends who deeply regret their departure. Rev. Parmenter is an able and eloquent preacher and his work has given universal satisfaction. His every acquaintance here is his friend and his resignation leaves a vacancy that will be hard indeed to fill. The best wishes of their many friends here follow them.
