Shafer, Sam (13 APR 1824 - 22 JUL 1896)
Died, at Unity, Wis., Wednesday morning, July 22nd, 1896, of general debility, Sam Shafer, aged 74 years.
The deceased came to this place about 16 years ago and located on a farm in the town of Hull, Marathon, Co., where he resided a few years then removed to Unity. He later moved into Clark Co., west of Unity, but his health failing hem, he moved into the village of Unity about two years ago. The funeral will be held at Unity, tomorrow (Friday) afternoon, under the auspices of the G.A.R.
