Waible, Balthos (7 FEB 1838 - 14 NOV 1896)
Died, at his home in the town of Hull, Marathon Co., Wis., on Saturday, Nov. 14th, 1896, Balthos Waible (cemetery says Balthas Waibel), aged 58 years, 9 months and 7 days.
Mr. Waible was born in the province of Wittenberg, Germany, Feb. 7th, 1838; he was married in Feb 1872; in June 1882 he came to America with his family and located in Milwaukee; the following year he came to this place and located in the town of Hull. He had been ailing for some weeks and his death did not come wholly unexpected. He leaves to mourn his death, a wife, one son and three daughters, all at home.
Mr. Waible was a free thinker and, according to his request, no religious ceremony was performed. The remains were taken direct from the house to the cemetery, where the mourners and friends were addressed by H.C. Bruns, who is of the same faith.
