Lamont, Donald (MAR 1896 - 3 MAY 1897)
Donald, the little son of J.F. Lamont, died from cholera infantum at the home of his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. A. Lamont, at 3 o’clock Monday morning. The little one was fourteen months old and had been cared for by his paternal grandmother and aunts since the time of his birth, his mother having given her life for his. The little one seemed to be getting along nicely until Saturday, when he was taken sick and grew rapidly worse until he died. The father was telegraphed for but did not arrive until the little one had joined the silent majority. The funeral occurred at the M.E. Church Tuesday afternoon, conducted by Rev. S. A. Hoffman.
