Funeral services were held from a New York Mills funeral home.

Surviving besides his wife, Frances; is a daughter, Gail Strebing, Whitesboro, NY; three sons, Leonard of Herrings, NY, Roy of Rockford, IL and Gene of Westmoreland, NY; two sisters, Mrs. Florence Spaete of Neillsville and Mrs. James (Evelyn) Gillis of Tucson, AZ; seven grandchildren ; and nieces and nephews.
