Bursell, Henry E. (25 FEB 1868 - 5 APR 1898)
Died, at his home in Dorchester, Clark Co., Wis., Tuesday, April 5th, of pneumonia, Henry E. Bursell, in his 31st year.
Henry was born at Oasis, Waushara Co., Wis., Feb 25th, 1868, and went to Dorchester, with his parents, in the summer of 1875, where he had since made his home. His father, James E. Bursell, conducted a cabinet making and undertaking establishment there up to the time of his death, which occurred Dec. 8th, 1895, and since that time Henry has continued the undertaking business. He and his mother were the only members of the family left and home and only one other living, Dunn, a brother, being a private in Co. F., 2nd regiment, infantry, U.S. Volunteers, stationed in Montana.
Henry was a most exemplary young man, beloved by the people of Dorchester, and had many friends in this city who held him in high regard.
The funeral was held at the Evangelical Church in Dorchester, last Thursday forenoon, conducted by Rev. S.A. Hoffman of this city. The remains were taken to their old home and interred by the side of his father.
