Buss, Anna S. (31 JUL 1809 - 2 JUL 1898)
Died, at her home in the town of Green Grove, Clark Co., Wis., on Saturday, July 2nd, 1898, Mrs. Anna Sophia Buss, in the 89th year of her age.
Anna Sophia Pomernke was born in Schwerin, Kreis Regenwald, Province Pommern, Germany, July 31st, 1809; she was united in marriage with Gottlieb Michael Buss in 1827; in 1868 they came to America; she was the mother of five children, three of whom are living, one in Germany, and two here.
The funeral was held Tuesday, July 5th, from St. Paul’s Church at Green Grove, Rev. A. Kuring officiating.
